Nestled in the pleasant natural surroundings of Mt. Geumnyeon, Suyeong-gu Library first opened in 2002 and has since become a key hub for culture and learning in the community. Following its reopening in 2022, it was reimagined as a modern, multi-functional cultural space.

The children’s area on Basement Level 1 is designed to stimulate creativity among infants and children, while the general collections on the 2nd and 3rd floors feature open stacks, tiered seating and lounge seating areas to create a comfortable reading environment. In particular, the media creation space and the outdoor lounge “Bium” offer distinctive spaces that support both creativity and relaxation for residents. (* Bium means “emptying”)

In addition, the library offers a wide range of high-quality reading and cultural programs and has been recognized as the top-performing library service evaluations for three consecutive years from 2023 to 2025.
