The Cultural Evening celebrates the diverse traditions, tastes, and talents of our host country.
Throughout the evening, we will watch a traditional performance with live percussions by the Busan National Gugak Center, we will sing along to pop classics, we will cheer on world-renowned K-dance crew Just Jerk, and we will close the night dancing to a special set by DJ Pandol.
Don’t miss getting a taste of the local delicacies that will be served, and especially look for Busan specialties such as Milmyeon, Busan eomuk, and Kimchijeon!
The venue: the Busan Cinema Center and its Library
We are very excited to welcome all of you to such special venue as the Busan Cinema Center and its Library.
Since the opening of the Cinematheque Busan in 1999, the Library of Busan Cinema Center has steadily built its film collection, now holding approximately 48,300 items. Far from being only a repository, this library is an experiential, vibrant, multi-purpose cultural space where visitors can engage with film through all five senses.
The Busan Cinema Center and its Library will be exclusively open for WLIC participants to explore its unique collections and services from 19:00 to 22:00.
