Geumsaem Library was established as a family-friendly cultural space and is widely visited by young readers and families. Among Busan’s 41 district-level public libraries, it ranked third in circulation as of December 2025. With a steady rise in collection use since its opening, it has become a well-loved library in the community.
It is the only district-level library in Busan with a dedicated gallery space. In 2025, the library held seven exhibitions covering various themes, including picture books, novels, works by authors, and community-created works, attracting 14,835 visitors. Through exhibitions designed for all generations, the library continues to serve as a vibrant cultural hub.
In addition, the library offers an annual humanities lecture series featuring experts from various fields across humanities, culture, and the arts. These programs provide local residents with opportunities to explore a wide range of ideas and cultural experiences.
